The Fundraising position on our board is currently a shared responsibility of the VP and the Registrar, but please let us know if you are interested in volunteering for this position as additional assistance is needed.  We do plan to replicate most of the fundraising programs we had in place for 2021-2022, so the position will, for the most part, simply continue those efforts.

Our Booster Club has 4 meetings per year -- 2 per semester. Our meetings are typically held on the Bowie campus. Meetings will include a financial report, vote on changes to our bylaws, vote on our fiscal year budget, discuss the tournaments, uniforms and any other important items. We also allow time to answer questions from parents.

Your booster club officers welcome involvement from ALL our parents! If you have a specific skill or talent you want to lend to the group, if you just want to be more involved but are not sure where you’re needed, or if you have an idea for an easy fundraiser or anything else that may benefit us, please contact a Booster Club Board member.

Our fundraisers for this fiscal year include Business Sponsorships at varying levels, our booth at Bulldogs & Hot Dogs (scheduled for Saturday, August 27th from 5-8pm at Bowie), sales from our online spirit wear store and various ‘Spirit Nights’ at local restaurants throughout the school year. Money raised through our fundraising efforts is used to pay our coaches, field rental for home games, tournament registration fees, and other operating and equipment costs.

Typically, the team will have a December Holiday Party (date and location for the 2022-2023 school year are TBD).  Additionally, throughout the season, the team will get together for team dinners or other team bonding activities. We also have an End of Year Banquet where we honor the coaches and players.
