MARISSA ERHART

Varsity Head Coach

Marissa is a born and raised Austin native. She started playing lacrosse in 2002 for Anderson High School. In her 4 years as a Knitro, she was a captain and selected for All-Division and All-State honors. She then played for Texas State University for 4 years and served as President of the team for 3 of them. After graduating, she channeled her love and passion for the game through coaching. She coached her alma mater, the Knitros, for 4 years before moving to Bowie. This is her 3rd season as a Bulldawg. Marissa loves to challenge her players to be better people on and off the field.

LESLEE FELDMAN

Varsity Coach

Leslee was an athlete growing up and earned her degree in Physical Education with a minor in Health and Recreation. After playing racquetball in college, she taught for 25 years and continues coaching as a lacrosse coach at Bowie.

CHAR JOHNSTON

SWAG Coach

Char hails from the DC area and loves all aspects about lacrosse as a player, coach and referee.  She has played almost 30 years including NCAA D1, coached over 15 years and has officiated all levels from youth to NCAA for over 20 years. At the high school level, she led St. Stephen’s to win consecutive D1 District Championships during her coaching career in Austin.
Char enjoys bringing fun to the sport and teaching players how to apply what they learn in lacrosse to their life off the field such as teamwork and tenacity.
Emily

EMILY HEIM

SWAG Coach

Emily started playing lacrosse in 8th grade and was a four-year Varsity letterman at Bowie, earning All-Division and All-State honors and team MVP awards. She played collegiate lacrosse at the University of the Cumberlands.  As a four-year starter, she earned NAIA First Team All-American honors and Mid-South Conference First Team accolades while ranking in the top 10 of the NAIA in draw controls, assists, points and goals while at UC. She graduated in 2021 with a Bachelors in English Literary Studies. Subsequently, Emily became a Graduate Assistant Coach at Averett University while completing her MBA, where she coached goalies, defense, and draw circle players. She is looking forward to bringing her experience to coach the next generation of players in Austin.

JOHNEE WOLTER

SWAG Coach

Johnee, although born in California, has spent the majority of her life calling Austin home. She began playing lacrosse in 9th grade with Bowie. She continued all 4 years. The lady Bulldawgs went all the way to state finals 2 of her 4 seasons and she was team captain her senior year. She went on to play at the collegiate level for 4 years at Southwestern University. Johnee received All-SCAC Honorable Mention and the Director of Athletics Academic Excellence Award in 2017, 2018 and 2019. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Communications in 2020. Johnee is thrilled to get back to the sport she loves as a coach for the program of her own lacrosse alma mater. Her coaching philosophy centers around empowering players to reach their full potential while fostering love for the incredible sport of lacrosse.

JILLIE ELDER

SWAG Coach

Jillie was born and raised in Newark, Delaware where she started playing lacrosse in 5th grade. After moving to Texas in 10th grade, she joined the Katy Cavalier girls lacrosse team. In her years spent with the Cavaliers she earned both an All-District title and an All-State title. She went on to Southwestern University to study International Studies and French and continued playing lacrosse for the pirates as a starter attacker.

Jillie’s excited to be a part of the SWAG team to help build the sport in Austin. She’s passionate about lacrosse and thrilled to see the next generation showing interest in the sport she loves.

 

Caitlin

CAITLIN BEBOUT

SWAG Coach

Caitlin started playing lacrosse in 2003 and attended Arizona State University where she became a captain and All American. After graduation in 2008, she spent six years as the Head Varsity Coach at Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix, AZ, helping lead the team to two State Championship titles. She then spent three years coaching at Hamilton High School in Chandler, AZ.

Caitlin has been voted Arizona’s Coach of the Year, along with Assistant Coach and Head Coach for Team Arizona at the Women's National Tournament.

She's passionate about lacrosse having coached all levels from kindergarten to adult, and is thrilled to bring her love of the game to SWAG.
